Pampering people from around the World

Marg and Norm Warren specialize in providing a number of amenities and services at their Bed and Breakfast, not the least of which is good old-fashioned comfort. In fact, their knack for leaving visitors with a profound sense of warmth and well-being has been their hallmark since they opened their B&B in 1997. Past recipients of the Hospitality Hero Award, the Warrens were recently awarded the honour by Cambridge Tourism staff once again. Hospitality Hero - July 2005Members of the Selections Committee said they felt compelled to recognize the couple for the third time "based on the sheer volume of heartfelt nominations received from around the world". A typical entry calls Roses and Blessings "a remarkable home-away-from-home", and characterizes Marg and Norm as "a charming and friendly couple who provide every touch to make us comfortable and content".

Dozens of similar descriptions have come in from guests from as far away as Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, British Columbia and across Ontario. As one nominator said, "When we left, we felt we were saying good bye to good friends who we had known for years, when in fact we’d only met them the day before". Though they are obviously ambassadors for the area and a model of the attentive B&B experience, Marg and Norm are humble about their calling. "For us, it is just a great privilege and pleasure to meet such wonderful people", said Marg. "Each is special and unique and we enjoy each and every one".

In recognition of the Warrens’ commitment to customer service, Cambridge Tourism presented them with a Hospitality Hero plaque, gold lapel pin and a gift basket filled with contributions from Tourism Partner businesses.
