Hospitality Blooms at local B&B

(Kitchener, Ontario) On Wednesday, October 6, 2004, Marg & Norm Warren, Owners of Roses & Blessings Bed & Breakfast in Kitchener, received the September Hospitality Hero Award presented by Cambridge Tourism.

As partners of Cambridge Tourism, Marg & Norm were awarded for their on-going customer service that has continuously exceeded the expectations of their guests. Touring guests around town, providing personalized care packages, adding greeting cards to morning papers and helping to change a flat tire are just a few examples of the outstanding service that Roses & Blessings delivers to their customers. They have received nominations from as far as the Netherlands and Ireland, all expressing sincere gratitude for the experiences they have shared with Marg and Norm. Most of their B&B guests are repeat customers whose comments include, “The service was phenomenal”, “Exceptional warmth & hospitality by hosts”, “What an amazing couple & experience”, and “Truly outstanding ambassadors for this area”.

When presented with this recognition, Norm was humbled saying, “It is fun to do more for people than they expect or want.” Marg believes that hospitality means showing love and concern for people. “We try to make them feel valuable and good about themselves,” she added.

Cambridge Tourism presented Marg & Norm at Roses & Blessings B&B with a gift basket overflowing with contributions from our Tourism Partner businesses, a Hospitality Hero plaque and gold lapel pins to acknowledge their achievement.

The Hospitality Hero Awards Program, launched in October 2001, is designed to recognize individual achievement in providing outstanding customer service and hospitality to visitors to Cambridge and the surrounding area.
