(Cambridge, Ontario – January 9, 2003) On Thursday,
January 9, 2003 Cambridge Tourism presented the 13th Hospitality
Hero Award to Jamie Baird, from j.b.’s Mongolian Grill in Cambridge.
Jamie is “the kind of waitress that you tip because you want
to, not because you feel you have to” said Taryl Muntz. The
Muntz’s from Brantford have returned to j.b.’s Mongolian
4 times during the past year due to the exceptional service
they have received from Jamie on each occasion.
The role of a waitress at j.b.’s Mongolian
Grill could be quite minimal due to the “select your own
meal ” style of service, but Jamie still ensures that each
guest receives personal attention and “wants for nothing”.
Martin Peynado, General Manager, points out that they too
have recently recognized Jamie’s dedication and service,
after only 1 year of employment and “ have just promoted
Jamie to a Supervisor position for the same reasons that
(Cambridge Tourism) has chosen to acknowledge Jamie as the
December Hospitality Hero. Jamie is always attentive,
smiling, and provides consistently good service.”
