Cambridge, Ontario - March 5, 2002
On Friday March 1, 2002 Cambridge Tourism presented Jennifer
Johnston, Head Interpreter from Wing of Paradise, with the
February Hospitality Hero Award.
Jennifer is recognized for receiving numerous nominations
since the program was launched in October 2001 and for
providing exceptional & consistent service. People rave about
her ability to motivate students and Doug Wilson, CEO of
Wings, said “Jennifer has this wonderful ability to make our
visitors feel welcome. She answers every question, whether it
is asked by a Grade 4 student or a senior, with the same care
& thoughtfulness. Everyone at Wings of Paradise is extremely
proud of her.” Jennifer has exceptions customer service skills
and has been know to go ‘above-and-beyond’ the expected by
researching additional information on questions she receives
from visitors & personally following up. One visitor even
stated that they would nominate her again ‘hands-down’ for
making their experience so enjoyable. Congratulations Jennifer
for a job well done!
The Hospitality Hero Awards Program was launched in October
2001 and was designed to recognize individual achievement in
providing outstanding customer service and hospitality to
visitors to Cambridge & the surrounding area. Awards are
presented based on nominations received from visitors and
local area residents. Nomination forms are available at over
250 Cambridge Tourism Partner businesses & at Gateway, the
Cambridge Visitor & Business Information Centre.
